Michelin Guide Recommends Portuguese Restaurants

You should know, that the Portuguese restaurants have received a special mentioning of the most famous gastronomic guide in the world

Not only the stars make the Michelin Guide. There is another section of the guide called Bib Gourmand, where critics select quality food spaces/restaurants at moderate prices. In this category there are representatives of all the regions of the country, with predominantly traditional Portuguese cuisine, from the fish and seafood of the Algarve to the meat and sausages of Trás-os-Montes.

The edition of the Guide of 2017 presents two new names, the Brasa in Macedo de Cavaleiros and the Vila de Peixe in Madeira, the number of restaurants present in the Bib Gourmand has increased to 35.
